About Web Accessibility Full Audit

A detailed website accessibility audit provides a comprehensive evaluation of your website’s accessibility, identifying all potential issues that could impact the user experience for individuals with disabilities. By conducting a thorough audit, I can provide customized recommendations and remediation solutions tailored to your specific website. This ensures that your website is not only compliant with accessibility laws and regulations, but also provides an optimal user experience for all users. A detailed audit also helps prevent future accessibility issues by identifying potential issues before they become a problem, reducing the risk of costly lawsuits and negative publicity.

In contrast, a quick accessibility audit may only identify a limited number of issues and provide generic recommendations for improvement. While a quick audit may provide some basic insights into accessibility issues on your website, it may not provide a comprehensive evaluation of all potential issues. This can leave your website vulnerable to accessibility lawsuits and negative publicity. A detailed accessibility audit is a worthwhile investment in your website’s accessibility and can ensure that your website is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. Contact us today to schedule a detailed website accessibility audit and improve the accessibility of your website.

  1. Automated Scan

At first your entire website will be scanned with an automated professional tool to get an overall idea of what we are dealing with. This scan allows to save you time and money but since it cannot uncover all the problem we need to move on to manual audit.

  2. Manual Audit

This is the most important and time-consuming period. And because it take a very long time we decided that it will be best to incorporate a remediation into it. Otherwise you would be paying twice: one time for a lengthy audit and second time for a lengthy remediation. This saves you time, money and very possibly headaches.

  3. Accessibility Statement

We'll add a custom Accessibility Statement to your website to let the world know about what your stance is on the accessibility topic and what steps you are taking right now to ensure compliance. It will also list a way for concerned users to reach you in case of an issue.

  4. Real User Testing

We'll employ real user/s of assistive technology to go over the website and double check performed work. This is a very important step because no matter how good I am or we are, it's ultimately the actual user's experience that matters in the end.

  5. Statement of Conformance

At the end you will receive a Statement of Conformance along with an Audit Report containing remediation that was performed on your site. The Audit Report will include the user testing results and fixes.

  6. Ongoing Monitoring

This optional step is for those who want to make sure the website, a living and ever-changing entity, is continually compliant to the current recommendations. This can be done monthly, quarterly or yearly according to your unique needs.
