About Website Accessibility Remediation

While an accessibility audit can help identify issues on your website, it doesn’t actually fix those issues. Remediation, on the other hand, provides customized solutions to address the specific accessibility issues identified in the audit. By remedying these issues, you not only improve the user experience for all visitors to your website, but also ensure compliance with accessibility laws and regulations. In addition, remediation can help prevent costly lawsuits and negative publicity that can result from inaccessible websites.
We offer comprehensive remediation services to help make your website more inclusive and accessible. We will identify accessibility issues on your website and provide customized solutions to address them. From adding alt text descriptions to images, to improving the color contrast of your website, to ensuring proper heading structure, we’ll take care of everything to make sure your website is accessible to all users. With our remediation services, you can improve the user experience of your website and reach a wider audience. Contact us today to learn more about our website accessibility remediation services.

  1. Introduction

The remediation can only be done after the problem is uncovered. You may have already ordered your Essential Audit from us in which case it's very straight forward because we are already familiar with your issues. If, however, the audit report is from a 3rd party auditor, there will be time put in to get acquainted with its findings.

  2. Backup and Staging

All the remediation steps will be first performed on a staging site. Your live site will not yet be touched. The full backup will be done as well. We will work as quickly and as efficiently as possible to ensure your site has minimum level of compliance. Custom Accessibility Statement will be provided.

  3. User testing

After we complete the initial remediation, the issues we were working on need to be tested by us and then by an independent disabled user/users. If all clear we will push the changes to your live site and issue you a report of what was done.

  4. Discussion

It is important that you realize that this is not a full and comprehensive remediation. But it is a good start. We will offer you our monthly, quarterly or yearly monitoring option and/or a Full Audit with a special discount.
